What Are Modular Kitchen Accessories?

Modular kitchen accessories are the functional fittings installed in and on cabinets that are not the main runner, hinge or basket system. U-Shape Under-Sink Drawer Guard

A curved U-shaped wall that fits inside a sink-unit drawer and wraps the cut-out made for the waste pipe. It keeps stored items out of the siphon area, so an under-sink drawer can be used for cleaning supplies, cloths and sink accessories instead of being left empty.

Sink Base Protection Panel

A panel that lines the floor of the sink cabinet. The sink base takes the most spills, drips and cleaning-product splashes in the kitchen, and a replaceable liner keeps the carcass board from taking that exposure directly.

Round Ventilation Grille

A circular louvred grille that finishes a drilled ventilation opening in a cabinet door, panel or plinth. It gives a clean edge to an airflow opening instead of a bare hole, and works where a discreet round vent is preferred over a long slotted one.

Linear Ventilation Grille

A long, slim slotted grille for wider airflow openings. The three-section face gives a continuous horizontal line along the plinth, a cabinet back or the top of an appliance housing, with flanged ends for fixing.

How to Choose the Right Kitchen Accessories

Start with where the accessory goes, then confirm the cabinet sizes before choosing a finish.

1. 01Identify the zone: sink unit, appliance or plinth zone, wall unit or drawer. Each group above solves a different problem.
2. 02Measure the sink-drawer cut-out and pipe position before ordering a U-shape guard. Cut-outs vary between sinks, so share the drawing or a photo.
3. 03For ventilation, check the appliance maker’s required opening size first, then choose a round or linear grille to suit the panel.
4. 04For wall units, choose a bi-fold lift-up for taller glass or display units and a lift-up flap for wide horizontal units. Share the shutter weight so the lift force can be matched.
