What Is a Tandem Box Drawer System?
A tandem box is a complete metal-sided kitchen drawer: the side panels, back and base slide out on a concealed full-extension runner under the drawer. Unlike a bare drawer channel, which is only the pair of slides, a tandem box drawer system gives the carpenter the box, the slide and the front-fixing in one specified package. 1. What height does the drawer need?
H90 suits cutlery, spices and shallow items in the top row. H122 suits utensils and packaged goods in mid-height base drawers.
