What Is a Built-In Kitchen Dustbin System?
A built-in kitchen dustbin system is a bin mounted on a mechanism inside a modular kitchen cabinet or drawer. It pulls out, swings out with the door or rotates into reach, and goes back out of sight when the door is closed. The mechanism matters as much as the bin: it decides how much cabinet width the dustbin needs, whether wet and dry waste can be separated, and how the unit behaves after thousands of daily openings.

Movebin — Three-Bin Under-Sink Pull-Out Waste & Utility System
Movebin is a pull-out dustbin unit for the sink cabinet that combines three-way waste segregation with a utility zone for cleaning bottles and paper rolls. Two 16.5-litre bins and one 10-litre bin cover wet, dry and recyclable streams, and the automatic lid opens as the drawer is pulled out, keeping odour and sight contained when it is closed.

Globe 2.0 — Pull-Out Waste Sorting System with Automatic Lid
Globe 2.0 is the refined version of the Globe platform: a pull-out waste sorting system with a new sheet-metal frame, soft-closing over-extension slides and a sheet-metal lid that lifts automatically as the unit is extracted. Bins have handles for easy removal and washing, and the unit is rated for 50 kg on the slides, which suits the daily load of a working kitchen.

Ring Waste Bin — Compact Round Rotating Bin for Base Cabinets
Ring is a line of round waste bins fixed directly to the side of the cabinet, so the bin rotates out with the door instead of needing a slide. At 10 litres it is the most compact system in the range, which makes it a practical choice for narrow base cabinets and under-sink units in apartment kitchens.

Ecofil — Built-In Pull-Out Waste Segregation Bins for Base Cabinets
Ecofil is a line of built-in waste bin systems made on a plated steel wire frame and extracted from the front on metal sliders. It is configured around standard bin sizes — single, twin, three-bin and four-bin layouts — so wet, dry and recyclable waste can be separated inside one pull-out, with a model for 300 mm and 400 mm base cabinets.

Metropolis — Modular Waste Bin System for Kitchen Drawers
Metropolis is a waste bin system designed to be inserted directly into kitchen drawers. It adapts to different internal drawer sizes, is fully modular and is easy to install, so a wide base drawer can carry two, three or four bins without a separate pull-out frame. Models cover drawer widths from 500 mm to 1,200 mm in two heights.

Swing Out — Large-Capacity Bin Fixed Inside the Cabinet Door
Swing Out is a large-capacity waste bin line where a fibreglass-reinforced nylon support is fixed directly inside the cabinet door and the bin hangs from it. It is a simple, economical way to add a 12- or 24-litre bin to a base cabinet where a pull-out frame is not practical, and it opens and closes with the door.

Swing — Door-Opening Rotating Bin with Airtight Lid
Swing is an automatic-opening rotating system that moves with the cabinet door and seals the container airtight. It is made of polypropylene and fibreglass-reinforced nylon, and it transfers the weight of the bin to the cabinet side rather than the door, so the door is not stressed over time. It can be mounted on the left or right of the base, or stacked, and the 12, 18 or 24-litre containers can be subdivided for waste separation.

How to Choose the Right Kitchen Dustbin System
Four questions settle most specifications. Answer them against the cabinet drawing before the BOQ is signed.
1. What cabinet or drawer is available?
Measure the internal width and depth. Ecofil suits 300 and 400 mm base cabinets, Swing is built for a 450 mm base, Ring for a 400 mm base, and Metropolis covers drawers from 500 to 1,200 mm. Globe 2.0 and Movebin are selected by kit code for the sink cabinet; send us the cabinet size and we will match the code.
2. Pull-out, under-drawer or door-mounted?
Pull-out systems (Movebin, Globe 2.0, Ecofil) carry the bins on slides or a frame and give the most capacity. Metropolis turns an existing drawer into a waste drawer. Door-mounted bins (Swing, Swing Out, Ring) move with the door and need no runners, which keeps installation simple in narrow cabinets.
3. How much segregation is needed?
Movebin separates three streams, Ecofil and Metropolis offer two to four bins, and Globe 2.0 is configured as a twin-bin unit. Swing containers can be subdivided inside one bin. If wet and dry waste must be separated at source, pick a multi-bin system rather than a single bin.
4. How heavy and how frequent is the use?
Globe 2.0 is rated for 50 kg on its soft-closing slides, which suits a busy family kitchen. For lighter daily use, door-mounted bins carry their weight on the cabinet side, not the door. Check the rating against the real load, not the bin volume alone.
