Luxury Wardrobe Accessories — Leather, Watch Winders and Mirrors
What luxury wardrobe accessories are, how Mirano's 15-SKU range fits an 864mm drawer module and how to choose by wardrobe type.

The short answer
Luxury wardrobe accessories are fitted interior components with a dedicated place for each item, smooth motion hardware and finished materials. Mirano's leather range has 15 SKUs in Coffee leather on a Grey frame, built to System 32 spacing and an 864 × 465mm drawer module. Plan the module width first, then fill it with jewellery, tray, watch winder, mirror and shoe-rack inserts.
Most wardrobes are judged by their doors. The ones that feel expensive are judged by their drawers: the jewellery tray that slides out on a soft stop, the watch winder built in at eye level, the trouser rail that comes down to your hand and goes back flush.
This guide explains what luxury wardrobe accessories are, how Mirano's 15-SKU leather range is organised, how to plan a drawer module around it and how to choose by wardrobe type. All sizes and codes come from Mirano's published specifications.
The basics
What counts as a luxury wardrobe accessory?
The label is used loosely, so it helps to define it by function. A luxury wardrobe accessory is a fitted interior component that does three things: it gives a specific item a dedicated place, it moves smoothly on proper motion hardware, and it uses finished materials rather than bare board or basic liners.
Mirano's range is built around genuine leather in Coffee on a Grey frame, with pull-outs, rotations and pull-downs running on Grass (Austria) motion mechanisms and System Holz sliding engineering. Most Indian wardrobe hardware defaults to painted steel or basic plastic liners, so this is a noticeable step up when the wardrobe is a focal point of a master bedroom or walk-in closet.

Planning
Plan around the 864 × 465mm drawer module
The most useful design detail in this range is hidden in the table. The Jewellery Leather Box, Leather Basket, Leather Tray and Trouser Rack all share one footprint of 864 × 465 × 60mm. They are built to the standard 864mm and 465mm module widths and System 32 spacing, which means they retrofit into most factory-made modular wardrobes and fit custom carcasses without non-standard cutouts.
In practice that gives the designer a drawer module that can be filled with different inserts without changing the carcass. One drawer can hold a Jewellery Leather Box, the next a Leather Tray for keys and wallets, the next a Leather Basket for scarves and belts. When a client's needs change, the insert changes, not the cabinet.
- Jewellery Leather Box: Dedicated compartments for rings, watches and fine accessories so small items are visible and separated instead of tangled.
- Leather Tray: A flat open tray for everyday drop-zone items such as keys, wallets and sunglasses, placed at drawer height.
- Leather Basket: A soft-lined open basket for scarves, belts, folded knitwear or laundry that protects fabric.
Personal items
Watch winder, accessories holder and cloth holder
The Watch Winder is a six-slot unit that keeps automatic watches wound and ready. At 860 × 350 × 200mm it is designed to be built into a wardrobe module, not placed on a shelf as a loose appliance, which keeps the cabinet lines clean and the watches protected from dust.
The Accessories Holder, at 210 × 330mm, is a compact leather organiser for ties, belts and small daily items, sized for a standard drawer module. The Cloth Holder, at 110 × 435 × 100mm, is a pull-out garment rail for staging the next day's outfit or dry-cleaning in rotation.

Mirrors and footwear
Mirrors and the rotating shoe rack
| Item | Size | Best for | Consider |
|---|---|---|---|
| Closet Mirror | 300 × 1000mm | Walk-in wardrobes and tall wardrobes with flat panel space | Mounts flush against the carcass, so it needs a clear flat panel |
| Revolving Mirror | 320 × 1000 × 49mm | Compact closets | Folds away and rotates instead of occupying a fixed panel |
| Rotating Shoe Rack | 705 × 360mm, 1695 to 1795mm height | Tall wardrobe or walk-in columns | Reclaims height instead of floor space and keeps footwear dust-protected |

By wardrobe type
Choosing by wardrobe type, mounting style and finish
- Walk-in wardrobes: Mirano suggests fixed accessories such as the Closet Mirror and open leather trays, where space allows.
- Compact sliding or hinged wardrobes: Space-saving options such as the Revolving Mirror and Rotating Shoe Rack make better use of limited space.
- Limited depth: Side-mount accessories work best where wardrobe depth is limited.
- Taller wardrobes: Top-mount and pull-down mechanisms suit taller wardrobes where reach height matters more than depth.
- Finish: The range ships in a consistent Grey frame with Coffee leather, designed to sit beside Mirano's other Grey-frame wardrobe hardware.

Materials
Leather-lined vs standard liners vs bare board
| Factor | Leather-lined insert | Painted steel or plastic liner | Bare board |
|---|---|---|---|
| Feel | Soft, protects jewellery and watches | Hard, can scratch delicate items | Depends on finish, can snag |
| Look | Premium, matched to the frame colour | Functional | Plain |
| Scuff and wear | Mirano describes its finished leather as resisting scuffing and holding its shape under daily use | Chips and rust risk over time | Edges can wear and swell |
| Best for | Jewellery, watches, daily drop-zone items | Utility storage | Low-use shelves |
The comparison of the other two options is general guidance. The leather behaviour described is Mirano's own description of its range.
Worked example
A worked example: a master bedroom dressing wardrobe
Take a 2.4 metre wide master wardrobe with six drawers built on the 864mm module and one tall column beside it. The client wears a watch daily, owns several automatic watches and a small jewellery collection, and keeps trousers and ties in the wardrobe.
| Position | Insert | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Drawer 1, chest height | VI012 Watch Winder module | Visible and easy to reach each morning |
| Drawer 2 | VI001 Jewellery Leather Box | Sorted rings and fine accessories at a comfortable height |
| Drawer 3 | VI003 Leather Tray | Keys, wallet and sunglasses drop zone |
| Drawer 4 | VI014 Accessories Holder | Ties and belts |
| Drawer 5 | VI002 Leather Basket | Scarves, belts and knitwear |
| Tall column | VI008 Rotating Shoe Rack and VI006 Closet Mirror | Footwear in height, mirror at the door |
| Trouser zone | VI015 Smart Trouser Pull Down | Motorised access to formalwear in a tall wardrobe |
This is an illustrative plan, not a Mirano preset. Always confirm the module sizes against the drawer-module drawings and check the drawer height needed for each insert.
Care
Looking after leather inside a wardrobe
General guidance, not a Mirano specification. Wipe leather surfaces with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth, keep them out of direct sunlight, avoid placing wet items on them and let the wardrobe breathe in humid weather. Check the supplier's care instructions for the specific leather and frame finish.
Planning notes
Planning notes for architects, designers and OEMs
- Fix the module width early: The 864mm module width is a carcass decision. Settle it before the drawer fronts are drawn.
- Decide which drawers hold which inserts: Place jewellery and watches at chest height, everyday trays at hand height.
- Use SKU codes in the BOQ: Fixed codes, sizes and finishes make repeat orders across a project consistent.
- Order samples for the client: Leather, frame colour and motion feel are easier to approve in hand.
- Plan power for motorised items: The Smart Trouser Pull Down is motorised, so plan for its power requirement with your electrician.
Client briefs
Typical client briefs and what to propose
| Client brief | What to propose | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Collector of automatic watches | VI012 Watch Winder, six slots, plus VI001 Jewellery Leather Box | Plan the winder module at a comfortable viewing height |
| Minimal dressing room, few items | VI003 Leather Tray and VI006 Closet Mirror | Fewer inserts keep the room calm |
| Family wardrobe, shared by two | VI013 Cloth Holder, VI014 Accessories Holder, VI002 Leather Basket | Practical daily organisation |
| Boutique or showroom wardrobe | VI001, VI003, VI006 and VI007 | Presentation matters more than capacity |
Use the table as a starting point for a conversation with the client, not as a fixed package. Every wardrobe has a different depth, drawer height and set of belongings.
Ergonomics
Placement and ergonomics inside a wardrobe
General planning guidance, not a Mirano specification. Place the things used every day between hip and shoulder height, where you can see and reach without bending. Keep rarely used items higher or lower. A watch winder or jewellery box works best at chest height so the contents are seen from above. A mirror belongs where the user naturally stands to dress, usually beside the main hanging area rather than inside a drawer run.
Lighting makes a large difference in a dark wardrobe interior. Warm, concealed light along the shelf or drawer edge shows leather and metal at their best and avoids glare. See our LED profile guide for the options that suit shelf and drawer lighting.
Check drawer height and runner extension before you commit. An insert that is 60mm deep needs a drawer with enough clearance, and a drawer that only opens part way hides what is at the back. Our guides to walk-in wardrobe design and sliding vs openable wardrobe hardware cover the larger wardrobe decisions around these accessories.
Decision framework
What to specify first
| Client priority | Start with | Then add |

Clear answers
Frequently asked questions
What are luxury wardrobe accessories?
Luxury wardrobe accessories are interior fittings that organise what sits inside a wardrobe: leather-lined trays and jewellery boxes, trouser racks and pull-downs, mirrors, shoe racks and watch winders. They turn bare shelving into a planned system.
What size drawer module do the Mirano leather jewellery box, basket and tray need?
All three are sized 864 × 465 × 60mm and are designed for a standard wardrobe drawer module of that width.
Are Mirano's wardrobe leather accessories compatible with any wardrobe brand?
Mirano states that the range is built to System 32 spacing and standard 864mm and 465mm module widths, so it fits most factory-made modular wardrobes as well as custom, site-built carcasses.
What colours does the leather range come in?
The leather-led range ships in a Coffee leather finish on a Grey frame as standard, coordinated with Mirano's other Grey-frame wardrobe hardware.
Can the watch winder be built into the wardrobe?
Yes. Mirano's Watch Winder is a six-slot unit sized 860 × 350 × 200mm for building into a wardrobe module rather than standing alone.
How do I choose between a closet mirror and a revolving mirror?
Choose the Closet Mirror, 300 × 1000mm, for fixed full-length viewing where you have flat panel space. Choose the Revolving Mirror, 320 × 1000 × 49mm, for compact wardrobes, since it folds away and rotates instead of taking a fixed panel.
What height does the rotating shoe rack need?
The Rotating Shoe Rack is adjustable between 1695mm and 1795mm in height, which suits most tall wardrobe or walk-in closet columns.
Does the side mount pull-out need drawer space?
No. The Side Mount Pull Out mounts to the side panel of the wardrobe rather than inside a drawer, so it suits wardrobes with limited drawer space but usable side-panel depth.
Do the motorised accessories have soft close?
The Smart Trouser Pull Down is a motorised, soft-close mechanism. Mirano states that the wider range runs on Grass (Austria) motion hardware and System Holz sliding engineering for smooth, controlled operation.
Can modular furniture manufacturers order these accessories at scale?
Mirano supplies the range at SKU level with fixed codes, sizes and finishes, so architects, designers and manufacturers can specify the same hardware consistently across projects.
